The 3 Fates

The myth of the 3 Immortal Greek sisters, known as The 3 Fates inspired me. They determine the life span of all humans. Clotho, weaves the cord of life; Lachesis , measures it; and Atropos cuts it.

I wanted to show Atropos at work during the Coronavirus where she had to deal with thousands of deaths worldwide in a second. My muse came to the rescue. I thought of stop-gap photography. So you see an acceleration of images cutting smaller and smaller life lines as they begin to form a pile-up at the bottom on the right. I bring an ancient Greek myth up to 2020
